We bought Bella a baby pool last weekend thinking she'd love it. She absolutely loves bathtime, so we figured she would love splashing around in the pool, right? WRONG! She hated it. She screamed the entire time she was in it. We took her out and wrapped her in a towel and let her sit in her lounge chair and she was happy as a clam (it didn't hurt that her Elmo bubble blower was blowing bubbles at her, which she loved). But the pool? Not a fan.
This weekend we thought we'd try again. I'm happy to report that the second time was the charm. She fussed at first but warmed up once we showed her she could splash around. We threw in some of her bath toys and she finally decided she liked the pool. Maybe we'll have ourselves a little swimmer after all!
