Yes...that's our living room furniture grouped in the middle of the living room. We are sans living room for the time being. :-(
The master shower...NICE!
Former home of "the throne"...
Needless to say, I got a hard dose of the reality of living at home while doing renovations/remodeling. The dust...oh the dust. It's EVERYWHERE. And the rooms that were dust free are no longer, as we transfer it from room to room when we walk around. Good times!
I am a bit freaked out about all of us (especially Bella!) breathing in all the construction dust, but what can we do? I just keep repeating, "It will all be over soon...". The contractors has an ambitious week lined up...hope they can keep it up. Projects to be completed this week:
- Electrical - tomorrow or Thursday (lights in kitchen, new outlet in kitchen and other fun stuff)
- New vent fan in master bath installed tomorrow
- Sheetrock up in living room by Friday
- Insulation in ceiling of master bath tomorrow
- Shower pan/plumbing today
- New interior doors and new back door (with doggie door!!) Friday or Monday
They took out our tile backsplash in the kitchen today, so guess that means we need to get busy on buying our new backsplash tile, huh??
This is, by far, the most stressful experience I've had in a long time (and it's only day 2!) but I cannot wait to see what the finished product will be!!
